~ Math Is Cool

Does your child enjoy math? The Math Is Cool program at Colbert elementary is suited for students with an aptitude and strong enthusiasm for math. Students will practice problem solving at their grade level and beyond in an engaging, playful and challenging environment. The components of the program are comparable to those of a typical sports program: coaches, teams, practices, competitions and fun!

  • 4th Grade meet at the stage area, with your lunch, on Tuesday, Oct. 13th, 11:55-12:40PM

  • 5th Grade meet at the stage area, with your lunch, on Tuesday Oct. 13th, 11:05- 11:50AM.

  • 6th Grade meet at the stage area, with your lunch, on Wednesday Oct. 14th, 11:15- 12PM

    We will be asking participants in the program for a $12 voluntary fee to offset operating costs. An additional fee of $12 will be required of students who compete in the Math Is Cool Championships at Mt Spokane High School in 2016. Scholarships may be available from Colbert PTO based on financial

    need. **Volunteers are needed for the 4th, 5th and 6th grade to work with students for this year. Please contact Stu Flesland to help out!
