PERSONAL SAFETY CURRICULUM PREVIEW
The children’s classroom teachers teach Personal Safety lessons to students in grades K-4. This year, Mead School District invested in the new Second Step Child Protection Unit (cfchildren.org), which is an update from the previous Talking About Touching curriculum. While the content is similar, one significant change is the use of anatomically correct language in referring to body parts. We are happy to invite you to meet with Heather Havens, Executive Director, and the Elementary Schools Social Workers and Counselors to preview this material on:
